The 2011 Yamaha Raider from Star Motorcycle is a chopper inspired custom cruiser. It’s aggressive design shows off a stretched out fork, chunky 1.25-in. diameter handlebar, upward-tipped flangeless teardrop style fuel tank, tank-mounted gauges, low slammed riding position, thick rear tire, blacked out detail, adjustable multireflector headlight, and a 2-1-2 high performance exhaust with large size header pipes. Power is generated by a fuel injected, air-cooled, long stroke, pushrod V Twin engine that displaces 1851 cc, and revs 123 ft.-lbs. of max torque. The cylinder heads utilizes pent roof combustion chamber design, and the twin camshafts work hydraulic valve lifters. The bike utilizes carbon fiber belt drive system that’s durable, low in maintenance, clean, quiet, and supportive of the rear suspension. Unlike other raked-out bike, the Raider’s steering is lighter with a combined 6° yoke offset angle and 34° steering head (that adds to 40° rake).
