The 2011 Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet is a 2-door 4-passenger convertible crossover SUV, the first the world has seen. It gives the open-air exhilaration of a convertible and sophistication of a sedan, while having the versatility, high seat position, utility and space of an SUV. It’s got 12.3 cu.ft. of luggage space, that will shrink down to 7.6 cu.ft. with the convertible top folded. The Cross Cabriolet was engineered to keep the rigidity without its B-pillars. It sports a powered canvas roof (with skylight above the back seat) and glass windows. 20” wheels and xenon HID headlights are also standard. Aerodynamic efficiency is maintained at a good 0.39 Cd. The car is standard in automatic full-time four-wheel drive. Power is generated by Nissan’s 3.5-Liter VQ DOHC V6 engine that delivers 265 hp and 248 lb.ft. of torque through a continuously variable automatic transmission. Amenities are based on Murano’s highest trim level, the LE. Standard features include keyless access and ignition, leather seats with front seat heaters and driver’s power adjustment with rocker switches for backseat entry, dual zone climate control, navigation system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, backup camera, Bluetooth, and Bose stereo.
The 2011 Nissan Murano LE is motored by a 3.5-Liter DOHC V6 engine that churns out 260 hp and 240 lb.ft. of torque. It’s backed by a responsive CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) with adaptive shift control. Fuel economy is an estimated 20 mpg combined on both front wheel or all wheel drive model. This five-passenger midsize SUV crossover has a sleek style, and with the new grille and front fascia shows a bolder flair. Inside, the cabin has premium fit and finish. Rear passenger is given enough headroom and legroom, while the luggage space offer up to 31.6 cu.ft. with all seats in place. The range topping Murano LE trim level upgrades with 20” alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, power tilt/telescoping steering column, heated rear seats, and woodgrain interior accents.
